Born in Salisbury, England, I am the eldest of five children. While working on a cruise ship for seven years, I met my Australian wife Jeanette. After marrying in England I emigrated to Melbourne, Australia in 1970.
The victim of three armed hold-ups, I was forced into early retirement and turned to writing for therapy. The result is Silks and Saddlecloths, a well received novel, and its sequel which is currently being written.
In addition to writing, I have spent 15 years as a volunteer community radio DJ at 96.5 FM in Melbourne.
I am also the proud father of three fine sons and grandfather to seven wonderful children.
